Did you guys get to see any of the shows they did?
I was at the first one where they opened for JGB on the Eel, and saw two nights on Broadway. Good stuff for sure.

Ya, that Eel river show was a grand time. The sound was great and all the musicians were on and having tons of fun. I had only moved to the area a month before and it was my first JGB show. What a way to kick off the next 22 yrs in the area. Saw Nelson a few more times up here, always a great time with very fun crowd, he frequented the area quite often. Great suggestion Dire, been to long since I listened to that disc.

damn, i have NO recollection of them opening!! How freakin sad is that?? (jeeez, gotta wonder what the hell i was doing during their set - this is actually bothering me a bit)

(rubbing fingers on temples trying to pry loose some old and decrepit memory cells for atleast a partial recall....)
